Before your first correction.
Can I use Stet offline?
Yes, after setup. The writing model runs on your computer. Initial setup may download the model and other files over the internet.
Will it work in the apps I use?
Stet works with supported text controls. Compatibility depends on the app, so try a short passage first and check the result before keeping it.
Can it help with more than spelling?
Full Correction checks grammar as well as spelling. The published version also offers Rewrite & Polish and custom instructions when you want another way to phrase a sentence.
Does Stet use my clipboard?
Some apps need a clipboard fallback. Stet temporarily copies text and attempts to restore the previous clipboard text. Clipboard history and every clipboard format are not guaranteed to remain untouched.
What do I need to run it?
The v1.5.0 download supports Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) and macOS 14 or later. You need space for the app and a compatible writing model. Speed and memory needs depend on the model and your computer.
