Website Privacy Notice

This notice covers visits to the Amr Zriek Photography website at www.amrzriek.com. The site is owned by Amr Zriek in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is separate from the privacy information for the desktop and mobile apps on the other portfolio website.

Hosting and site analytics

The site source is configured for Vercel hosting and includes Vercel Web Analytics. When the site is served through Vercel, Vercel may process visitor request information such as an IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and system configuration to deliver, secure, and operate the site. Vercel's current Privacy Notice describes its handling and retention.

When Web Analytics is enabled for the active deployment, page-view data is sent to Vercel for aggregate traffic reporting. Vercel documents data points that can include the page URL, referrer, timestamp, coarse location, browser, operating system, and device type. It says Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies and discards its visitor session after 24 hours. The analytics component is present in this source; whether it is active depends on the deployment configuration. See Vercel's Web Analytics privacy documentation.

Fonts and external links

This site requests its fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's font service, which receives the network and browser information involved in serving the requested font. Google's Privacy Policy applies to Google's processing. Links to Instagram, Behance, 500px, WhatsApp, and other external services open those services only after you choose them; their own privacy notices then apply. The site does not embed social-media posts or players in its pages.

The separate /admin/ path is marked noindex and loads the Sveltia CMS script from unpkg.com when visited. That service receives the request for its script; public portfolio pages do not need it.

Contact forms

If you submit a contact form, the fields you provide are your name, email address, and message; the contact page also offers an optional subject field. The browser sends the submission to Formspree, which processes and forwards it as an email so Amr can respond. Formspree says it may also process IP address, browser type, domain, access time, and referring website information for service operation and security. Its Privacy Policy describes its practices. Do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your inquiry.

How messages are used

Information submitted through a contact form or sent by email is used to respond to the inquiry and handle related follow-up. It may pass through Formspree and the email providers used for delivery. Retention depends on the form service and the resulting email conversation; contact Amr to ask about a message sent through this site.
