1. License grant
The PanoramaSlice desktop application (the "Software") is licensed, not sold. Amr Zriek grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use the edition you obtain (Free or Pro) on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial creative projects.
You may install and use the Software across multiple personal devices that you own or control.
2. License restrictions
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the Software or any copy to another individual or organisation.
- Copy the Software beyond making personal archival backup copies reasonably required for your own use.
- Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except to the extent that applicable law explicitly permits notwithstanding this limitation.
- Modify, remove, or obscure any proprietary copyright, author, or trademark notices included within the Software.
- Use the Software in any manner that violates applicable local or international laws.
3. Ownership & your photographs
The Software, including its original source code, user interface design, assets, documentation, and name, is the property of Amr Zriek and respective licensors.
Your photographs remain entirely your property. PanoramaSlice performs 100% local image processing on your device. Amr Zriek claims no copyright, ownership, or intellectual property rights in the photographs you import or the carousel slides you export using the Software.
4. Editions & product updates
The Free Edition provides essential panoramic splitting for up to 3 portrait slides in a 4:5 aspect ratio, exporting JPEG files at 1080px width without watermarks.
The Pro Edition unlocks multi-slide slicing for up to 20 slides, custom aspect ratios (4:5 portrait, 1:1 square, 3:4 standard, and custom ratios), 1080px and 1440px exports, lossless PNG output, and fine-grained sharpening and compression controls for a one-time purchase price.
Maintenance updates, bug fixes, and compatibility enhancements may be provided at our discretion. No ongoing support contract or continuous update obligation is created by this license.
5. 30-Day voluntary refund policy & EU statutory rights
For paid licenses purchased through our official Gumroad store, we provide a 30-day voluntary money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, reply to your Gumroad purchase receipt or email amrzriek@gmail.com within 30 days of purchase with your order ID, and we will issue a full refund.
For consumers residing in the European Union or United Kingdom: statutory withdrawal rights for immediately delivered digital content are waived when you give prior express consent at checkout to commence supply immediately and acknowledge the loss of statutory withdrawal. Our 30-day voluntary refund policy remains fully available regardless of statutory withdrawal rules.
6. Disclaimer of warranties & third-party platforms
The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that operation will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future operating system versions.
Third-party social platforms: While PanoramaSlice provides presets and pixel dimensions tailored for Instagram carousels, Amr Zriek has no control over server-side image recompression, rendering alterations, or platform policy changes introduced by Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or other third-party services.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amr Zriek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Software.
Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to this agreement or the Software shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the affected license.
8. Governing law & dispute resolution
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protection afforded by the law of their country of habitual residence.
