Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This statement covers the MatteScale desktop app for Windows and macOS and the amrzriek.com website. We aim to make the app usable by people with disabilities, including people who use assistive technologies. This is a product accessibility statement, not a certification or claim of complete conformance with WCAG.

Accessibility Approach

The app is designed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidance in mind. Implemented support includes:

  • Keyboard access - interactive controls have keyboard support; modal dialogs manage focus.
  • Screen-reader support - dialogs expose dialog semantics and accessible names; icon buttons use accessible labels.
  • Visual preferences - visible focus indicators and reduced-motion preferences are supported.

These features have not been independently assessed across every operating-system, device, and assistive-technology combination. Behavior may vary by configuration.

Known Limitations

  • Canvas zoom / pan uses pointer gestures; keyboard zoom equivalents are provided, but precise keyboard panning may be limited.
  • Some visual or canvas interactions may not expose all information or controls to every assistive technology.
